This Black Knight is not the one from Marvel Comics, his first appearance was in 1955, where as this one first appeared in 1953. I don't know if the two are connected in anyway.

The Black Knight: Search for the Sheriff (Article)
Everybody likes a good adventure story. These kind of romantic, swashbuckling stories were abundant in the Golden Age of comics, where names like DC and Marvel were all but unknown, if they even existed yet. While there are other publishers today, they aren't as noticeable as they used to be.
This Black Knight is not the one from Marvel Comics, his first appearance was in 1955, where as this one first appeared in 1953. I don't know if the two are connected in anyway.
